Love In Vietnam has quickly become one of the most talked-about films in recent months, not just for its heartfelt storytelling but also for the way it connects audiences across India and Vietnam. Directed by Rahat Shah Kazmi, the film stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Avneet Kaur, and Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan, along with veterans like Raj Babbar, Farida Jalal, and Gulshan Grover. With its release on 12 September, the film has already made a cultural and cinematic mark.

A Story Rooted in Love and Dreams

The plot of Love In Vietnam follows Manav (Shantanu Maheshwari), a young man from Punjab whose uncle sends him to Vietnam to pursue higher studies. Accompanied by his childhood friend Simi (Avneet Kaur), Manav embarks on a journey that blends ambition, friendship, and romance. A fateful encounter with a local girl, portrayed by Kha Ngan, adds complexity and emotional depth, symbolizing the universal power of love that transcends borders.

Cultural Exchange and Local Promotions

Ahead of its release, the film’s cast engaged directly with audiences in Lucknow. Shantanu Maheshwari and Avneet Kaur visited GD Goenka School, where they interacted with students, shared behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and even danced to the film’s songs. Later, at a special screening held in a city mall, the stars thanked fans, posed for selfies, and expressed gratitude for the love they received. Shantanu remarked on the city’s cleanliness and transformation, noting how warmly Lucknowites welcomed them. Avneet Kaur too praised the city’s charm, emphasizing how the smiles of people make Lucknow unforgettable.
