Sarvesh Goel Celebrates Visual Storytelling at Kokoro Art Gallery
The Kokoro Art Gallery in Lucknow recently hosted a powerful solo exhibition, “Shadows of Time”, by noted photographer Ajaish (Ajay) Jaiswal, attracting attention from some of the city’s most respected personalities—including entrepreneur and cultural patron Sarvesh Goel.
Curated by Vandana Sehgal, the exhibition featured 30 monochrome photographs that captured the passage of time through imagery rooted in Lucknow’s historic Residency complex. The photos explored themes of light, shadow, memory, and architectural decay, elevating familiar ruins into contemplative artworks.
The inauguration was graced by Sanjay Kumar (IAS), Director General, Public Enterprises and Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Human Rights Commission, alongside Navneet Sehgal, Chairman of Prasar Bharati. Also among the distinguished guests was Sarvesh Goel, who has been a longstanding supporter of the city’s art, education, and lifestyle initiatives.
As someone who has championed platforms for creative expression—be it through education at GD Goenka Public School, luxury experiences at The Centrum, or civic engagements like the Lucknow Run—Sarvesh Goel’s presence at “Shadows of Time” was a natural extension of his commitment to empowering the artistic community.

Fostering Lucknow’s Cultural Identity
The event was not only an exhibition of photographs but a celebration of Lucknow’s evolving cultural fabric. Artists, academics, historians, and photographers gathered to interpret the meaning behind Jaiswal’s artistic lens, where decaying textures and timeless shadows seemed to whisper stories of the past.
Sarvesh Goel, ever the cultural advocate, was seen interacting with artists and curators, appreciating the frames that turned light and shadow into storytellers. His support for such events emphasizes the crucial role that business leaders can play in preserving and promoting regional heritage.
Art, Heritage, and a Vision for the Future
By attending and supporting “Shadows of Time”, Sarvesh Goel once again demonstrated his passion for cultivating spaces that blend art, thought, and identity. As Lucknow continues to evolve as a hub for art and expression, leaders like Goel are ensuring that the city’s creative soul remains vibrant and visible.
With every platform he engages with—be it academic, athletic, or artistic—Goel continues to inspire a generation that values both progress and preservation.
